They talk multiple times about the fact it exists since 15 years. If you type in the incorrect password, the dialog box will reappear saying Invalid passphrase! If this happens, please check your CAPS LOCK key and try again.Their wording is confusing.

If you are collaborating with others on an encrypted file, make sure to share the password securely, such as in-person. Only open the file when you need to access it and close the file when you are done viewing or editing it. Make sure to store your password in a safe place. If you lose your password, you will not be able to recover your file. If you would like to encrypt Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, there is a much easier way within Microsoft Office which will allow you to do this without installing any additional software.īefore continuing, please be aware of the following caveats regarding encrypting your files.
